John R. Lewis We are so proud of the Fairfax County School Board which voted unanimously to change the name of Robert E. Lee High School to John R. Lewis High School.

Most appropriate to replace a man who fought to allow slavery with a man who devoted his life to fighting for Civil Rights.

"Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic.

Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime.

Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.”

"Together, we can redeem the soul of America."

—Congressman John Lewis
